Gainey McKenna & Egleston Announces A Class Action Lawsuit Has Been Filed Against Beta Bionics, Inc. (BBNX)

NEW YORK, Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gainey McKenna & Egleston announces that a securities class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of all persons or entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Beta Bionics, Inc. (“Beta Bionics” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: BBNX) securities between July 30, 2025 to February 24, 2026, inclusive (the “Class Period”).

The Complaint alleges that Defendants touted the safety, efficacy, and commercial success of iLet—the Company’s sole commercialized device. The Complaint alleges that in October 2025, Beta Bionics disclosed that (1) it had received an FDA Form 483 raising concerns about iLet; (2) Defendants stressed that the letter had nothing to do with the safety or efficacy of the device itself; (3) Defendants stated that the FDA had only taken issue with the Company’s interpretation of which customer complaints needed to be reported to the FDA, such that the Company would have to backfile some additional customer complaints that were very minor in nature and required no medical intervention and (4) Defendants assured investors that the Company was swiftly implementing the FDA’s required changes to its complaint reporting system, and accordingly that they did not “foresee any ongoing challenge with this at all.”

The Complaint alleges that the truth began to emerge on January 8, 2026, when Beta Bionics reported an unexpected miss on new iLet patient starts.

Investors who purchased or otherwise acquired shares of Beta Bionics should contact the Firm prior to the November 3, 2026 lead plaintiff motion deadline. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
